  1. Wow! I can't believe it. I've been so busy working on the virtual quilt of March block photos, I almost forgot to check before I finally walked away from the computer and got some other stuff done around here this afternoon. Thank you everyone.

    Congrats to Linda.

I don't think we've ever had all the winners for a month living in the same part of the country before. We may have to Show & Tell our quilts from these blocks together at the Quilters Guild of Dallas 😉

  2. congratulations, Sophie! I can't believe you never put yourself in the running for all these wonderful blocks for 3 years — or rather, I can believe it but I don't know why!!

  3. Well done you Linda & Sophie.

I'm jealous, but that's what happens when you don't enter any blocks – you don't win!

  4. I don't know how many sets of SWAP blocks I still have around here, but it's always been enough to keep me busy, so leaving myself out of the lotto almost always feels like the right thing to do. I I did enter once before when Kate was taking over things for a few months and I was lucky enough to be a winner then, too … and I'm only just now coming around to knowing what I'll make from those string blocks.

  5. Congratulations to Sophie and Linda!

  6. Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the words – and to seeing March's challenge!

  7. The March block will post at midnight tonight, but if you wanted to start thinking about fabrics, you could take a peek into my 2010 Lotto Blocks photo set on flickr and look at the latest additions 😉

I should be able to get the February block mailing info to everyone pretty quickly … since I don't need to confirm my own mailing address 😉 As soon as I hear from Linda, it shouldn't take long to get the mail out to the group. I did try to split up the Sweetie's, honey's, cutie's and other duplicate words between us. If you made 4 or 5 blocks, you'll be mailing to both of us (and how you split them up is up to you 😉

  8. Yay! Congratulations to both of you, but especially to Sophie. You totally deserve the win. 🙂

  9. I'm thrilled! I've been buying valentine fabric remnants in hopes of a lucky day, so I can't belive this! I also had mental plans for a "PODNAH " to be written in red bandana fabric on a blue gingham background , togive a western feel. So now I'll have to go ahead and make it! I'm actslly onmy way to the airport for a eweek in dc for a work seminar , but I'll get Sophie my mailing info before I take off. Thanks everybody!

  10. The March blocks look like a lot of fun! They do look easier – but the secret will be in the selection and placement of the colors. I have materials in these colors so won't need to buy anything this month I think.

Already had to put my sewing machine away until I get paperwork in order for the accountant. (Working on the March blocks will be my reward to myself.)

  11. Congratulations – – Sophie and Linda!

  12. I forgot to post pictures of my other two words. I have Hottie and Baby. I am not going to use them, would you like them Sophie?
