Two Words from June

Took me a while to find my 6.5 inch ruler – but found it now and I could cut the word blocks to submit for my February blocks. In Pumpkin – I really like the way the ‘m’ and ‘n’ look – almost like italic printing! Not so sure of the other ones… This was my first time to make letters. In Babycakes – it was a challenge to get the ‘y’ so it would fit.

Thank you Sophie for the challenge!

Flowers were from my husband for Valentine’s Day…

This was really fun to work on – hard but fun. I could tell that I was getting more comfortable with working with the fabric with each letter.

While I was working I was thinking about how you-all were also in your sewing area struggling or breezing thru the challenge – is really nice to be part of this group.

  1. I think they both look great! I've added them to the list.

I know this month has been a challenging one. Next month will probably be easier for everyone–just ask the sneak peekers who have already made quite a few blocks 😉

  2. My challenge to myself is to make at least one block each month!
