Sophie, Are you giving any hints on what next year’s block lotto holds for those of us eagerly awaiting the new year?
Thanks! Gail

An overall theme has not yet revealed itself … it might be there, but my subconscious hasn't yet let me know 😉
There will be a mix of techniques. The blocks will be, as always, beginner-friendly. Some of the blocks will be traditional, some will be original–or, at least will have original directions written by me–and a few will use liberated techniques.
I will let you know in advance what the fabric guidelines will be for future blocks so you can go shopping (in your stash or at your local quilt shop) if you want to plan in advance.
I do plan to send out a sneak peek for the January block sometime tomorrow to everyone who has made blocks this month–life has thrown me a bit of a curve, so it may be later than I planned.
The fabrics for January will be scrappy BRIGHTS (prints or solids) with whites (solids or white-on-white prints). As I mentioned in that Can of Worms discussion, if you have worms (or noodles or jelly rolls or whatever you call 2-1/2 inch wide strips), you'll be able to use them in the January block.
