Here are my nine blocks for January. I wasn’t sure I liked this block when I made the first one. But seeing them together look great and they’ll go together so easily for a dynamic quilt. Trust Sophie…that’s the lesson here.
Block Lotto has been a good source for many lessons. With this one I realized that I didn’t have any WOW in my stash, and I seem to have a lot of blue and green. I also have learned that the foot on my sewing machine is not 1/4 inch wide and to stop using it as a guide, or else my blocks will come out too small. lol…I promise…these all measure correctly (thanks to my brand new 12 1/2 square ruler…oh boy)
This would be a good month to win, don’t you all think?

Whenever we try something new, I'm always a little worried that others won't see the possibilities that I do. I think this month's block has a lot of fans.
