If at first you don’t succeed….

My dad always says that God loves tryers….and I am trying but these blocks don’t bear close scrutiny..so I’ll use them for something wonky and I’ll get back to the old ironing board! I love the concept of the block and I’ve even made a little pin cushion out of my bonus block but as per usual it takes a little while to perfect the block knowing that someone else will use it.

  1. Hi Julie – you sound like me! Love the adorable pinnie. I should do that with some of my rejects. I've had the hardest time for some reason to get the blocks to line up well. I do like your blocks, although I know only too well your discomfort in scrutiny!

  2. The pincushion in a LOVELY way to make lemons from lemonade. I DO keep thinking about making smaller blocks of all the lotto blocks so far this year and creating a series of pincushions.

  3. Love the pincushion!

  4. Your pincushion is very cute. Thanks for sharing the photo.
