New List for Rule-Breaking Tulip Blocks (and a second lotto drawing for them)
I’ve added a list to the at-a-Glance page to list the blocks rejected for breaking the color rules. We’ll have a separate drawing for the people who made them.
I’ve sent email to everyone who has made blocks this month asking them to let me know if any of their blocks really are breaking the color rule of tulips being made from different fabrics which are the SAME COLOR. I thought some looked questionable on my screen but because following the color rules don’t usually present a problem, I assumed it was a side effect of lighting, photography or my computer screen.
With the creation of this second list, no one will miss out on chances in the drawings at the end of the month.
I really prefer to move any rule-breaking blocks onto the second list so please let me know if any of your blocks should be moved to the new group/new drawing. It will be so much nicer for you than me sending you email later when one of the winners sends me a note telling me that your blocks didn’t follow the rules.
