I came across this great idea for using our Dec. blocks on the Freebies for Crafters Blog. It would work for other shapes too. How fun!

It seems like this quilt is making the rounds on the web. For a different perspective on using the quarter-square-triangle as an alternate block, check out Deb's Shoo-Fly quilt at the bottom of this post on a couple of lotto quilts in progress from 2008.

The pattern is actually a freebie from Robert Kaufman fabrics … I hope the "freebies" site where you found it gave them credit.

Yes indeed, the Freebie for Crafters always gives credit, and to get the pattern they send you to the Robert Kaufman site. Sorry. I should have mentioned that in my post.

I love that idea! I made a bunch of blocks for myself, so I will use this one. Micki

After you have your quilt together, be sure to share a photo here, OK?
