Tamera’s Introduction

Posted by on January 4, 2010 in blocks | 5 comments

Hello, everyone. I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Tamera and I live in North Dakota. I live waaaaaaay out in the country, in the middle of nowhere. Of course, just about everywhere in North Dakota is the middle of nowhere. 😉

I am wife to a wonderful Norwegian farmer/rancher; a stay-at-home mom with four beautiful children; a goat farmer; a homeschool mom; and a rabid quilter.

I make LOTS of scrap quilts, but I love all different styles of quilts, and I am planning on trying lots of new techniques this year. I’m also wanting to work with fabric that is a little outside my comfort zone…stuff I wouldn’t necessarily choose myself.

I really want to focus on busting some stash this year as well.

So, that’s about it. I hope to get to know you a little better, and be sure and come visit my blog, Tamera Quilts.

  1. Hello Tamera,
Welcome to the group. I joined last year and had a great time. This year should also be fun with a more liberated feeling. I am already a reader of your blog, and your post of this month's blocks may get more people to join this group. Great meeting you.

  2. Welcome Tamara. I hope we inspire some stash-busting for you this year.

Don't forget to post a photo of your blocks on this blog for credit in the drawing. (I couldn't tell if those blocks on your blog were for us or your quilt 😉

  3. Howdy. Welcome. I have been at this a while and have enjoyed nearly every month.

  4. Welcome aboard! Looking forward to seeing you, often, virtually!

  5. Welcome to the group! I just entered my first lotto, and really enjoyed making the blocks!
