A setting idea for our Love Letters

When I saw this quilt project on the Moda Bake Shop blog a couple weeks ago ,

… I immediately had two thoughts:

1. Some of those long rectangles would look great mixed in with our Liberated Love Letters blocks. (They’re even the right size, they finish at 6″ tall 😉  You might even add some of those hearts.
2. If I made this quilt, I would piece those words instead of doing all that appliqué.  It would be so much faster than all the tracing, cutting and appliqué involved.
