Tote bag from lotto winnings…

Sophie’s tote bag inspired me to follow suit. I won 16-patch blocks last year (or was it the year before?). I made the heart in a snowball blocks patterned after the ones I won last year but needed to make them so that when they were on point they were straight up and down. I’m going to make another bag with all 16-patch blocks. I love this pattern, very easy.

Sophie, the instructions/photos for this tote are great!!

  1. Wow! That's adorable! A few people form the Lib-quilters group on Yahoo have made the tote and, so far, I think they've all come out even better than mine (which I will say, without modesty, that I like alot!)

  2. What a happy tote! I really like the handle and all the purple yo yos. Thanks for sharing.

  3. That's adorable!

  4. FYI, I've created a Gallery Page on my patterns and tuts blog and added photos of three of the bags I've seen so far.

  5. Very nice interpretation of the bag pattern. Happy is the right word for it!
