Blogger Weirdness

A few nights ago, when I was updating a photo on the post with the sneak peekers’ blocks, the options for the Insert Image function were totally changed and did not include the option to upload a photo from my computer.  Instead, it pointed to the mostly invisible albums on Picasso  which is where all the photos we upload are stored.  (Picasso and Blogger are sister companies, both owned by Google.)

Rho emailed me because she had the same problem last night, when she went to post the two new liberated basket blocks she’s made.

My best guess is that they are doing something like updating the system (and maybe backing out the changes when they don’t work).

So, if you have a problem that looks like this one . . . my advice is that you try again later.  As always, if you are having ANY KIND of problems with blogging here, be sure to contact me about it.  If I can’t help, I can probably let you know that it’s NOT YOU and that the system is misbehaving 😉

  1. I wonder what's going on. My google reader listed Rho's post, but when I clicked, it was gone.

  2. I saw Rho's attempted post, too and expected to find it in the list of drafts, but it wasn't there. I guess that Rho had the misfortune of being in the middle of posting when the Blogger team did whatever they are doing and it was completely lost (but not before google reader captured it).
