And I have to admit, I was SCARED of that handle! But now I’m rather fascinated by it…. and wondering what else I could do with that technique.

After you finish patting yourself on the back for facing your fear and making those handles anyway (because you deserve it!), think about much less scary it is now to consider something like an appliqué vine border. It was actually in that context in a workshop with Patricia Campbell that I learned this particular approach.
