More Trees

Here are my 5 pairs for the month. I really love the jewel tones but, this is not a combination I have tried until now. I have slowly been collecting some of the jewel colors and I almost didn’t have enough for the 5 pairs.

I washed all my fabrics in warm water…made sure I had a nice seam allowance. I find if there are ever any problems with a block or two they can easily be fixed if there is a decent seam allowance to work with. To finish up I carefully (checked and re-checked) measured and trimmed all my blocks to the required sizes. Now, all that’s left to do is ‘hold my breath’ and hope I win (again?) !!!!

Even though I have sewn liberated styles for a while I found these cute little trees to be a good challenge for me. I think all of the other tree blocks I have seen posted are just FABULOUS and I would like to HAVE THEM!!!!!!!
