Heart O’ My Heart…

My Grandmother used to sing a song called “Heart O’ My Heart” (… or maybe it was “Peg O’ My Heart”) and I was thinking of that song as I made this Lotto block; my first for the group.

This February Heart Block was/is a learning experience! I learned that I need to use narrower, brighter strings. Since I have a bunch of strings that are “too small for one of the cut strip bins, but too big to toss”… I should have no trouble making some more Lotto Hearts that I like better.

For now, I’ll just say “Hi, Everyone” from the woods of central Oregon… and go back upstairs to make more Lotto Blocks. Glad to be here with you all.

Cheers,
Nan

  1. Welcome to the block lotto, Nan. Your block looks great … though your design taste may lead you to make brighter blocks, when all of our blocks come together in the winners' projects, all the variations of colors and value and bright and ull will be wonderful … I just know it 😉

I've added your block to the list. With yours, Pokey's, Ellie's and Julie's, our new total so far this month is 114 hearts.
