Red and White Lotto blocks

I have two blocks to submit to the March Lotto here. Thanks to Pat H for the link to see this Blog and to Sophie for letting me join today. I just recently learned about the D4P block.
I am a ’empty nester’ and I live in Washington State. I make quilts for my almost 17 grandchildren and myself. I like to try new patterns and challenge myself with new techniques. I have been sewing/quilting for most of my life. I have a big stash and multiple UFO’s. This year I hope to get many of the UFO’s off the list. So far I’ve been adding more to the list. Too many Quilts ~not ever enough time, right?

  1. Mary, welcome to the block lotto! I am afraid I have bad news and good news for you. The guidelines specify that you must use a different RED fabric for each of your blocks. It looks like you made two matching blocks, so unless I am missing something, only one of them can be counted for the drawing. The good news is that if you don't want to keep the duplicate blocks, you could consider sending it to Clare, for her Quilts 4 Leukemia initiative.

  2. Ps. FYI, I edited your blog post to add the labels D4P and March 11 photos.
