Bird Trap w/Block Lotto Birds

The April 2013 Birds segued perfectly with the project I was working on- a block swap oh-so-loosely based on the Bird Trap quilt in the Belger Arts Center collection.  The completed quilt has been boxed & shipped to QuiltFest in Jacksonville but I had to do some pre-show sharing.

Here are the birds in detail.  Some of them, anyhow.

    Wow! I love your birds and love the overall quilt. Good luck!
    I never got the birds made for the Lotto but I’m making a row of them now (in lieu of mittens) for the Lori Holt row along quilt.

      Linda, I almost included a version of the mittens as a lotto block for this year, I think the birds will be great in that quilt–be sure to share a photo here when it’s done!

    I loved your Bird Trap blocks BEFORE you added the bird blocks. They’re great together.
