After waiting over a month for these blocks, they have arrived. It appears that the postman delivered the envelope to the wrong house and I am guessing it sat there for a while before it was forwarded to me. Now I have all but 2 blocks – still expecting them from Kathy S.

Blocks arrived last week from Dagmar (Germany) and Karen (South Africa) – they are lovely, thank you. I’m still waiting for a few stragglers, but most have arrived. I’m thinking about how I will use them – no one idea has stuck yet.

I gave this beautiful block a go last night. All was well until I tried to sew on the background and it just didn’t seem right. I re-measured everything and discovered that the printout was not in proportion. In a panic I measured the paper-pieced section (phew, it was okay).
