Six Houses from Sophie
Here’s my contribution to the neighborhood.
I also found this “easy” block challenging. I think it’s a great idea for an I-Spy quilt or for borders and table runners, but it took practice for me to produce a house and occupants with pleasing proportions.
The rounded door of the dogs’ house and the circle attic window in the fish house were appliquéd. I used the freezer paper and glue method for the door and cut a 2 inch circle template from lightweight cardboard for the window.
