Ending the Year with Stripes
This month we are making this 6-by-9 inch (finished size) Stripes block using white (a solid or white-on-white print) and a fabric of your choice.
Ellen make this one.
The block pattern directions are here:
The block pattern has been updated since it was sent out as part of the sneak peek and contains directions for making multiples of this block from strip sets.
As usual, you may make up to a maximum of 9 blocks for chances in the drawing at the end of the month. As always, if you like, you can make more and donate them to the pot. If you make multiple blocks, you may use thewhite fabric in all your blocks, but each must be made with a unique quilter’s choice fabric.

Add the tag Stripes to all your blog posts about this block. The category should be blocks when you are posting photos of your blocks to enter them in the drawing; use the category sent and received when you are posting about mailing or receiving blocks; and the category show and tell to share projects you make from this block (whether they are lotto blocks or blocks you make for yourself.
The Virtual Quilt
The blocks in this month’s virtual quilt were made by sneak peekers, Ellen, Helen, Jo, Julie P, Nann, Peggy and me. While you likely would arrange them differently, this will give you an idea of how a scrappy bunch of these blocks will look together.
Differences in lighting make some of the white stripes seem less white but all the quilters have assured me that they truly are all white fabrics.
Don’t forget that even if you have mailed a photo of your blocks for the virtual quilt, you must create a post and share the photo in order to be included in the drawing this month or to have your blocks added to the pot (if you don’t want to be included in the drawing).
