Linda Big D January blocks
I had finished most of these last weekend, but my initial version of the one on the lower left had strips that were too big, so I had to do it over. Most of the strips were left over from a strip quilting project I made in a class with Ami Sims last spring. The result will be a colorful picnic quilt, but I have been stuck on finishing the backing. With this month’s block as an inspiration, I will now make the back as a giant tic-tac-toe, so that after the meal, the quilt can be turned over and used for a ring toss game (or tic tac toe). hmmm. Now I’ll have to make some bean bags too!
