Where Do I Send My Blocks?
As a reminder of how things work. After the winners are randomly chosen, there are a few steps that happen before I can email everyone the mailing info:
- I email them, asking them to confirm that the name and address i have for them are current, correct and correctly formatted. I also ask them how many of their own blocks they’d like to keep for themselves and send to the other winners.
- Each winner replies to my email. Winners must reply within 2 days.
Reminder:if you know you are going to be away from a computer on the last day of the month, it’s a good idea to contact me in advance and I will confirm your mailing info and ask about the blocks JUST IN CASE you win (so you don’t miss out).
- Using the winner’s responses, I put together a chart with everyone’s blocks and figure out who should mail how many of their blocks to which winners for scrappy sets that are the correct size for each winner.
- I email everyone who has made blocks with the winners addresses and the completed chart.
While this sometimes seems to happen immediately after the drawing, it usually takes a day or two. (For example, Today, on March 2, I just sent the email with the mailing info for February’s Heart blocks). It seems to depend on the day of the week, who wins–some of us are more available on the weekend, others only have access during the week, and my schedule.
