Sneak Peek Tonight and Some End-of the-Month Changes for October
If you have made and posted photos of split star blocks by 8 PM (east coast)/5 PM (west coast) tonight, you will receive sneak peek email with advance information about the November block.
Since I will be travelling to Quilt Festival in Houston on October 31 (with a stopover in Dallas to see the Dale Chihuly exhibit) and will be disconnected for most of the day, I’ve asked Kate to handle updating the list and the drawing for the winners. (THANK YOU KATE).
After the drawing, Kate and/or I will followup with the winners to verify their mailing addresses and find out how many of their own blocks they choose to keep. Depending on whether or not I can borrow a PC, there may be a delay of a few days before the mailing info for the October blocks is mailed to everyone. Some things can be easily accomplished on a smart phone or a tablet, but creating that grid and turning it into a PDF file is not one of them so it may have to wait until I’m home again.
The information for the new block will be ready before I go and scheduled to post on November 1, as usual. Updating the at-a-glance page may lag a few days until I am back in Santa Fe.
I will be reachable by email–smart phones are good at that–while I’m in Texas if anyone has questions about anything … though I may not be checking for messages as regularly as usual because of the distraction of all those beautiful quilts 🙂
