My Baskets for June

Posted by on June 24, 2010 in blocks | 6 comments

Hello everyone. I spent the day in the sewing room today and got all my blocks done for this month. I had so much fun using up some crumbs…I really like getting rid of some of those….as always a great block!

I missed out on last month’s lotto. I did have two blocks done, but never got them submitted thinking I’d make more first, but the deadline came and went. They sure are interesting!

  1. It looks like you really did have fun with these. I've added them to the list; our new total-so-far is 143 blocks.

  2. Love the half dresdens at the top of your baskets. They look like lace.

  3. Thanks. I had made a pink/brown dresden quilt for a new granddaughter a few months back and had an incomplete flower left….

  4. Wow, these look great! I just love how everyone's baskets have just a tad different look. Winning this month you'd have much more variety than if you made your own!

  5. I totally agree with your comment about diversity. I think it's one of the things that make group quilts so great.

  6. Boy – you have good looking scraps! Baskets turned out great!
