My Dandelion Patch!

When I saw the fireworks block last month, I thought of making the blocks in green and yellow to resemble the dandelions in my yard!  I just finished piecing my quilt tonight.

  5. Very cute and cheery!

  6. It's fantastic! Who knew that asterisks/spiders/fireworks could also read as dandelions in bloom … obviously, you!

  7. Ps. How funny is it that I just commented elsewhere that I'd mix green string blocks with this month's roses … and you'd already made an excellent example of how well that would work?

  8. Sophie, I agree the roses would look cute with strings!

  9. I really love this quilt! What a fun way to make daisies! The strings in between are too cute! I may even try that with the baskets I have rather than the idea I was "cookin". Thanks for sharing!

  10. Lovely and liberated!

  11. Oh this is just such a fun quilt! Love it!

  12. Great looking quilt! Free the dandelions!

  13. That is the coolest field of dandelions I have seen this summer!! What a GREAT idea for that block.

  14. Thanks ladies. I think i might cheat and use white buttons from my nanny's old button jar at each intersection and button-tuft it instead of quilting!

  15. What a great idea for a quilt – I really like this one!
