Is this an iPhone photo? There used to be a problem with photos taken with a vertical orientation. They look right in the phone but when you emailed them (or sent them to other apps), they showed up like this. The work-around was to edit the photo and crop it slightly so that the orientation information was updated in the photo.
The quilt is gorgeous. I love it , too. I remember seeing how to make those cool pieced setting triangles in a workshop with Sharyn Craig … though I doubt I could remember how to do it now and would have to go dig out the handout from that class. I like the colorful scrappy sashings and little white cornerstones, too.
