Pretty Little Violet Quilt
This lovely show-and-tell arrived via email today. This 14-inch quiltlet was made by L. Kelley. I am sharing it with her permission. She had this to say about it:
I made a small “quiltlet” wall hanging for the friend who introduced me to African Violets 40+ years ago. I used the 4 inch block, so the quilt is about 14 x 14. If you look closely, you might see that I free-motion quilted 3 of the flowers with an iridescent thread to give it a little sparkle. The rest of the quilting is outlining each petal which doesn’t show up in the photo. I LOVE your block and have plans to make a full=size quilt for myself.
