More birds have arrived in Las Vegas!

This has been so much fun – most quilters probably enjoy receiving free quilt blocks in the mail and I sure am! A big thank you to Julie, Helen, and Wendy for the wonderful birds. Early last week, Wendy posted that her blocks had been mailed and it seemed odd that they had not arrived by Friday. Saturday they were delivered and something had happened to the package. It reminded me of when I had a black Lab and she would chew on anything she could find. One corner of the package had obviously been wet and the envelope was partially open in another corner. The corners of the blocks did get wet, but I’m sure the light stain will wash out. The blocks are too lovely not to use. So Wendy, your package had some kind of adventure on its way here, but as the commercials say “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!”

Happy Mother’s Day to all the block lotto mothers!

  1. I just read about my birds going on an adventure … sorry I didn’t put them in a plastic bag inside the envelope, and I hope the stain washes out !!! My mother sent me an envelope in March and it is still missing, glad the birds didn’t have the same fate. Enjoy your blocks, – Wendy
