Apple seed and apple thorn,

Wire, briar, limber lock

Twenty-seven geese in a flock

Nine flew East

Nine flew West

And  nine have a new home in the Midwest!

( I’ve sent three blocks made of three geese each from Illinois to Ohio, California, and Iowa.)
