Two Cactus from Kathy S.
I made two cactus blocks today. Please let me know if the block on the right is unacceptable because I used two different yellow backgrounds. I only had enough of the one yellow scrap and then realized that I needed a 2.5″ x 4.5″ piece vs. a 2.5″ x 3.5″ piece.
I’m hoping this is OK, because I have one that I planned to do with two different yellows also. I think it makes a scrappy quilt even scrappier!!

Oh, yay! Because I made two with the under-the-pot triangle a slightly different yellow. Whew!
I had to change the rectangle size that was stated in the pattern too. Thankfully I had enough fabric but I like the scrappy look too.
