I miss it too, and I am so sorry that Sophie is dealing with so many problems. I have joined a Farm Girl Vintage sew a long, one 6 block a week, so that is keeping me motivated to sew during this busy season.
I’m missing it too. I have cleaned and organized sewing stuff. Patterns, magazines and fabric. That feels really good. I also started on Jen Kingwell’s pattern, Long Time Gone. That will keep me busy for a long time!
I, too, miss making those monthly blocks. I’ve used some of my time to take some of my winning blocks and turn them into quilts. I’ll post pictures soon on the blog. Hope all are doing well this summer.
I now realize that the Block Lotto sewing was the ONLY sewing I did some months! The blocks often led into/made me think about other projects. Definitely mssing it. It’s winter here and looking forward to warmer weather! Karen in Cape Town.
I’m working on UFOs lately. Kevin the Quilter has a fun quilt along happening right now. It’s quite manageable. This month I’m going to work on finishing my Big O quilt from blocks I won I think in 2014. Waving HI to Sophie. Know that we are thinking of you.
