I mailed three brown snails to Julianne this morning. Let’s see how long snail mail takes from Michigan to California. Actually, our temperatures the last couple of days seem like California — and the bulbs are peeping up!

Here is the finished quilt made from the November 2014 Easy X blocks. It turned out to be a graduation quilt for the beautiful daughter of a good friend. I’ve added a detail of the quilting done by Charlene Koppenol on her long-arm machine. She put a few crosses into the quilt in honor of the girl’s attachment to her church. I sent flowers today to Kim and delivered flowers to Barb this weekend at our guild retreat. It is now spring here and maybe our bulbs, planted so hopefully, will soon bloom. The lake is ice-free here and beautiful, but impossibly cold.
