Here is my first block for the Dec. Lotto. I made this with the extra I had to cut off of something else I was making.  (an oops!)  This block looked so fun and easy I knew I had to try it, and I thought my extra fabric looked to be the right size.  It worked out fine.  And it really was fun and easy!  I’ll be making more, but wanted to get this entered now. I finally have had some sunlight and some time to get a photo of my 9 Easy X blocks for this month!  I’ve had them done for days, but it has been so dark and gloomy here that I just couldn’t get a decent photo. I loved the inspiration quilt Sophie showed!  So I decided to try the bars block.  I got 7 blocks made.  I found them difficult to do accurately, although all the tips were a big help.  But I’m out of true blues now.  (I was surprised how few I actually owned!  Most of my blues have some turquoise or purple in them or are too dark.)
