Green is my favorite color and this fabric looked like lots of fun. Sewing the curves wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be so I decided to make a block for myself of each month so that I could sew together the blocks at the end of the year. I thought Sophie’s quilt looked fantastic and I hope I can find the time to make a fun quilt out of this years blocks.

Between teaching, a teething 20 mos son and finishing a quilt for my mother-in-law, this may be the only block that I submit to the lotto in January. Here is hoping for more time to make more blocks.
