progress on 9-patch HST’s

I have been slowly working on assembly of the 9-patch blocks ( I am making 16 more blocks to make mine 8×8 blocks).  Some of the blocks I received had some off-white, so I used some off-white on the blocks that I’m making to tie it together.  I’m liking this a LOT!  I think that this quilt is telling me that it wants flannel backing and to be yarn-tied instead of quilted and with a loftier batting than I normally use so it’s warm and cozy 🙂  I have some rainbow blanket binding from my grandmother’s stash (that wide silky stuff that I bet a lot of us had baby blankets with it) that I might use to bind it too, that would be fun 🙂
