Update with flimsies

Hi everyone,I have been feeling guilty about not posting some progress of my winnings and inspirations from Block Lotto.

I thought I should be at the completed quilt stage before posting, but here are some work in progress pictures.

Thanks everyone for their fantastic blocks and to Sophie for such wonderful ideas and hard work.

1) Jacobs Ladder – needs borders, but has been at this stage for a year so thought I should post a picture.

2) Boomers and boomerettes – needs more white borders, but they all look great together

3) Low volume strips- inspired by Low Volume Hearts, last row just completed

Good luck to everyone for the January draw.

Best Wishes Margaret

  1. I love seeing the top together, even if they are not officially done. These look marvelous. Found my boomers too!

  2. Thanks for posting them. I love them all, but I especially love the Boomers and Boomerettes. Hmmmm. I might have to use that for one of my scrap busters.

  3. They are all great in their own way. Seeing all the boomers together is so fun–it always makes me happy to see that our blocks really do play well with others.

  4. I’ve just got to get my Boomers together! Yours look great. I’ve made a Jacob’s Ladder and have always loved the diagonal design. Thanks for showing us your progress.

  5. Love the boomers – they look like a school class assembled for a photo!
