finished object – Eclipse quilt

These were blocks from 2011 or 2012, and I’ve posted pictures before as it was a work in progress. Now it’s quilted and bound, so I thought I would share the finished quilt.  Thanks to all who made the squares!   (that’s our new cat Nick sitting on the quilt).

  4. Hi Linda…a cuddle to Kitty Nick…he looks right at home! Your quilt is just sooo happy feeling. The Chevron backing really works with it. You must have felt very cheerful working on it! Happy sewing and tons of Purrs.

  5. Linda,

Oh what a beautiful quilt! You must be very happy with it! The colors are so bright and cheery!! Your Nick is an identical twin my my Xela!! Kitties are so much fun and bring so much joy! My girl, Xela is a tremendous help in my sewing room!
Anyway, Thanks for the photo of the quilt……now is there a place in Block Lotto where one can find the directions for the past blocks? I’d dearly love to try my hand at this block!!

  6. yes, indeed! On the home page of the block lotto, scroll down and look for the blue hyperlink, “blocks we’ve made, month by month, year by year. When you click on it, it will show the blocks going back from the most recent years to the oldest; (before my time here). I think the Eclipse block was in 2011 or 2012, maybe 2010. Next to the block will be a link to Sophie’s wonderful directions, and another link to pictures of lots of versions of the block! Enjoy!
and thanks for your kind words.
