6 Bars for May’s Draw
Well this is the block where an accurate 1/4″ seam allowance Really matters! Once I had that mastered these blocks worked up very easily and quickly. I needed to shim my 1/4″ foot at the shaft with a bit of cardboard and reposition my needle to really get the 1/4″ seam allowance…a consistent (scant) 3/16″ is not going to work for this one …you need to take the full 1/4″ seam allowance to achieve the correct inner unit size and to allow for the 1/4″ on the points …just saying…Have fun sewing ladies!
