Little Windows

Hi, My first squishie has arrived!!! I almost drove past the mailbox, with my mind on other things, but am I ever glad I stopped. A wonderful envelope from Surrey, BC awaited me. So Nicole’s blocks got to Nova Scotia first.  Now to open the package to see what surprises are there! Wow!!   They are so sweet. Now I am really getting excited about the quilt to be! I found some paper at Wal-Mart that works really well for paper piecing. Carol Doak is the queen of paper piecing. She sells a paper for this technique that is easy to sew on and still easy to tear. I’ve found that the Manila Artist’s Drawing Paper that Wal-Mart sells is very similar to the Carol Doak paper. And it is only $0.99 for a package of 50 sheets!
