I didn’t win the blocks but I did swap some blocks. This is the Thrifty Block from April 2009…way before I joined up with Block Lotto. And it has been a UFO for far too long and now finally finished.

These colors are similar to the ones we used when Thrifty was the Lotto block. The colors remind me of good-n-plenty candy.

Hi, I was fooled by the distance shot…”This really looks complicated with all those little squares.” I thought to myself… then I zoomed in and figured it out….almost a year wit Block Lotto is having an effect on me! Love this little beauty. I also liked the swirl with flower quilting it really suits this quilt.
What a lovely quilt. The design plays tricks with my eyes! It has an interesting 3-D quality and crisscross movement.
