The drawing will be later today because I am following everyone’s advice and following up after my accident. After spending 2 hours on the phone with the insurance company who covered the car that hit me when walking across the street last week, I am now biding my time at an Urgent Care … and hoping I don’t catch anything that will make me have to cough or sneeze–two things that are most painful right now.
As soon as I am home, I will choose the winner of that fabulous quilter’s basket of goodies.
I am so sorry you got hurt. I cannot imagine getting hit by a car. And you are doing the right thing. At our age (grin) when we get hurt, it never seems to go away.
most states have a law that requires cars to yield to pedestrians, especially in a crosswalk!

Oh Sophie, I’m so sorry to hear that you got hurt! What a horrible thing to happen! I hope you are feeling a little better by now (I hope you get some good pain meds) Glad you got checked out by the doctors. I can only imagine how badly you’re feeling right now. And angry too.

It has taken a good 10 days before I can now cough, sneeze, yawn or hiccup without pain. Praying for ya, Sophie.
Very sorry that you got hurt. I hope that driver has some meaningful consequences, doesn’t seem right that she can keep on yakking on the phone like nothing’s happened. I pray you have a speedy recovery.
