Baby Quilt Borders

I was keeping up pretty well with the extra blocks to make the mystery sampler until we got to summer. Then I got overwhelmed with other things, and got lost! So there sat my shoebox of blocks made, and along came the Snail’s Trail Star pattern from Debby Kratovil (free pattern download link in post), and a nice baby quilt was created.

I hope to catch up again with the lotto, if not this month, then in September.

  1. How cute is that ??

  2. It’s adorable and even if you never make Old MacDonald’s Mystery Sampler, you found a good home for some of your blocks 😉

  3. What a wonderful baby quilt! Would NEVER have thought of doing this! Pat yourself on the back!

  4. Very cute! I like the star, and will add a picture to my collection of snails trail ideas that I assembled when I won the snails trail blocks. I never realized how versatile these blocks can be before.
