Love it or Hate it–Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year
Each year, Pantone chooses their Color of the Year. This year it is a yellowish green called Greenery.
We’ll be making 8 inch Dutchman’s Puzzle blocks combing the color-of-the-year with another fabric of your choice and adding a tan or pink background.
Susan made this block.
I apologize, but I think I picked up a nasty flu that is working it’s way through the city and so this post will be brief–providing you with the essentials and updated as I can later.
You can download the block pattern here:
Download the pattern using the coupon code 4XPJH2CQRO to get it for free during the first 10 days of February.
You may make a maximum of 9 blocks for chances in the drawing at the end of the month. The target set size for the winners will be 48 blocks.
If you make multiple blocks for the Block Lotto, you can use the same background and Greenery fabrics in multiple blocks as long as each block is unique.
Tags and Categories
Add the tag puzzle to all your blog posts about this block.
The category should be blocks when you are posting photos of your blocks to enter them in the drawing; use the category sent and received when you are posting about mailing or receiving blocks; and the category show and tell to share projects you make from this block (whether they are lotto blocks or blocks you make for yourself.)
The Virtual Quilt
I promise to come back and update this post with a virtual quilt using the blocks made by sneak seekers, Barb, Ginny, Julie, Kathleen, Peggy, Robin, Susan and me.
