Most orphans are home

I’d like to thank Barbara, Elizabeth, Marg and Terry for the orphan blocks that arrived during the second half of March.  I know that Karen’s from South Africa are on their way, so I think that you’ve all done a great job of sending off your blocks in a timely fashion.

One of the charities I sew for each year is Meals on Wheels.  They like to include a little something along with the meals in December, and my quilt guild friends and I make placemats.  I plan to use these blocks to make placemats this year.  I know I love looking at all the different fabrics that have gone into the blocks, so I know these homebound seniors will love having them grace their tables.  I’ll post a picture when I’ve made a few.  Thanks for participating in Block Lotto.
