Three blocks arrived from Béatrice in France Sept 6th.Vivi

Yesterday I mailed my violets to Ginny and Marybeth.

to MaryBeth and Cathy. I can’t wait to see these tops assembled. I think they will be lovely!

to Shannon, in my same state of GA, and to Cathy in far away Australia. P. O. funny – I took them in and he weighed and stamped Shannon’s as a package, then looked at Cathy’s (exactly the same – 3 blocks, same type envelope,etc….”) and said, you know this is small enough to call it a letter and we wouldn’t have to do the custom forms. It should get there fine. I said okay, and he weighed and stamped it...

I had to post this: I just received my first block from Kristin in Oregon, and the plastic bag saved the day! The mailman had dropped her envelope on the ground, behind my trash cans, and it was soaking wet—I could only just make out her name and return address, because I didn’t find it until the next day.But when I opened it, there was her beautiful block, safe and dry.Thanks!Ginny

I went to post office and mailed the violet today  so it’s on it’s way to  Marybeth in Florida. Also put in fabric so you can make another violet. Have fun! June
