Then hold top strip with your left hand and bottom strip in your right and guide each strip to keep the edges lined up as you sew. Here are my six blocks made for the “Sneak Peek”. I had a hard time imagining how they would make a cohesive quilt with everyone using different batik fabrics but I was pleasantly surprised by the virtual quilt and how well all the various colors and patterns worked together. Good job...

These blocks were a snap to do, and a great way to use up some scraps of batiks I had laying around. I mentioned to Sophie that I had to redo one set, because I made my cuts in the wrong direction. If you cut your beginning squares at 10 x 10 rather than 10×9, you won’t have to worry about whether you are cutting in the correct direction.
