Yesterday I mailed my violets to Ginny and Marybeth.

O. funny – I took them in and he weighed and stamped Shannon’s as a package, then looked at Cathy’s (exactly the same – 3 blocks, same type envelope,etc….”) and said, you know this is small enough to call it a letter and we wouldn’t have to do the custom forms. It should get there fine. I said okay, and he weighed and stamped it...

I had to post this: I just received my first block from Kristin in Oregon, and the plastic bag saved the day! The mailman had dropped her envelope on the ground, behind my trash cans, and it was soaking wet—I could only just make out her name and return address, because I didn’t find it until the next day.But when I opened it, there was her beautiful block, safe and dry.Thanks!Ginny

I know that someone somewhere has likely put together some lovely directions for the first time blogger, from accepting an invitation to become an author on a group blog (when you’ve never blogged before) to creating/editing blog posts including how to add photos and labels. Can anyone point me to a good example so I can send it to first time bloggers?
