Easy X Flimsy Ready for Quilting

Easy X Flimsy Ready for Quilting

Here is the quilt I assembled from the beautiful Easy X blocks. I had to make a few to complete some of the color areas, but it has all the blocks sent by you Block Lotto folks. I took it to the quilter yesterday and she will work her magic on it and I’ll post a picture of the finished quilt. It will be a graduation gift for the youngest daughter of a...

Zounds! All the 9-Patches are Home.

Zounds! All the 9-Patches are Home.

I received Charlene’s letter today, enclosing the double 9-patch block AND an extra. It was just what I needed. I’d decided to set the blocks 7 x 7, which meant I’d need to make that 49th block. Now I can proceed to put them together into a nice big wrap-around quilt. Thanks to everyone for making that possible. More X Blocks in my New Mailbox

I have a new green mailbox. It replaces one that was smashed by a falling tree just before Thanksgiving — along with my lantern and part of the old stone wall. The stump is 15′ tall and I have a downy woodpecker and a pileated woodpecker making homes in it (a condo?). Oh, yes, and I had blocks from Maree, Gwen and Julianne. Thank you all for the beauties.
