I received my April blocks from Linda today — they are all in now and ready for my design wall. And I mailed blocks to Jude and Cathy. Thanks to everyone who participates, but especially to Sophie who does so much to make this so enjoyable.

I had envelopes today from Sandy, Cathy and Peggy — all filled with beautiful colored blocks. Thank you so much. I particularly liked this block because of the wonderful “uplifting” colors. They will make a joyful quilt — or should I say, I will make a joyful quilt!

I received blocks from Sophie and Jude today. Thanks so much for these beauties. I’m excited about possibilities. Also, spring seems finally to be on the way. No buds on the trees, but a few daffodils have shown up…

Happy Spring — Maybe. Crocus have begun blooming before the snow is gone, the “Big Lake” has some open water (but icebergs, too), and the sun is bright in a blue sky. Even the postal clerks are brighter! Karen’s block is on its way to sunny South Africa.
