I have the package ready and will drop it in the mail tomorrow to Laura.  Sorry for the delay, but I had to fix 2 of the blocks (the polka dots were running the wrong way), and one white block was too short.  I had my daughter’s wedding out of town earler this month, and a business trip last week, so just behind on everything.  Enjoy.

 As many have said, this was a fun block.  It gets easier once you have one made, because you can use it as a pattern and lay out the pieces of the next block on top of it, so it gets less confusing to figure out which piece goes where.  It would probably help to mark the 21/2 x 2 3/4 block  (that goes between the chimneys) some way to distinguish it from the 2 3/4 inch squares; they are the easiest to get mixed...

I mailed 4 blocks to Maree on Saturday.  On a personal note, my cousin just sent me two hand-pieced quilts that belonged to my aunt, and may have been made by my grandmother (I’m trying to get that confirmed).  They look like quilts that my mom and dad had when I was a child that were made by her, but have since been destroyed or discarded.    They appear to be 1930’s or 40’s era quilts; one is a grandmother’s flower...
