Leaf blocks quilted and done!
Our guild is having a “finish your UFOs” challenge this summer. When I won the May leaf pairs block lotto I was motivated to make them into a quilt rather than have them languish in my sewing room. I used Sophie’s flower idea on the top of my stacked leaves and lots of scrappy neutrals for the background. I only needed to make one more leaf pairs for my layout. Thank you to everyone who sent me blocks! One of our guild members is delivering quilts to West Virginia flood victims, and I am giving her this quilt to donate.
What a fabulous way to use up those leaf blocks -really love what you have produced.
Wow this is great! Love how you used those leaves.
Very nice!
Gorgeous quilt, wonderful purpose!
That turned out very cute, and what a great way to make your blocks matter. Well done!
